What should I know about training requirements?
Individuals are expected to complete training for their own safety and that of their co-workers. The University's Environmental and Safety Management Policy provides details about the responsibilities of schools and administrative units for ensuring compliance with this and other environmental health and safety requirements.
How do I know what training to take?
When you first log in to the system, you are prompted to conduct a Training Assessment to identify training needs based on your job functions. Once this is completed, an Individual Training Action Plan (ITAP) will appear with a list of required and suggested (optional) training courses. An online EH&S Training Course Catalog is also available to review the various courses offered and their content.
How do I schedule my training?
When you log in, the ITAP will provide you with the completion status of your training. You will also be able to register for instructor led training courses and launch online training sessions
