Description/Objectives:	The Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) Course meets the requirements of the federal OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) to provide training to individuals who may be exposed to human blood, tissue, cells, or other potentially infectious bodily fluids as part of their job. The training includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: definition and transmission of BBPs; controlling exposure to BBPs through precautions, personal protective equipment, and engineering controls.
