Organic Landscaping

organic landscaping
By using organic materials instead of potentially harmful chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides we are able to revitalize Harvard's landscapes and also protect the environment.  Our specially brewed "organic teas" are enriched with living organisms designed to restore and enhance the soil's natural nutrient cycle.  The result is a robust landscape that is more resilient and vibrant.

Green Cleaning

Green Cleaning
Providing a healthy and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff is the goal of green cleaning.  Our program features 100% recycled paper products, Green Seal® certified cleaning solutions, environmentally sensitive cleaning procedures, high filtration vacuums, micro-fiber cleaning products, and environmentally friendly hand soaps.  Our entire custodial staff has been fully trained to the nationally recognized Green Seal® standards.

Owner Services Program

Improper installation and maintenance of building systems can dramatically reduce their efficiency.  Our Owner Services Program (OSP) is designed to eliminate these problems by filling the gaps that have historically existed between design, construction, commissioning, and final turnover of a building.  The OSP ensures proper installation and operation of building systems, establishes preventative maintenance plans, and provides comprehensive training for maintenance staff.

Ultrasonic Steam Trap Testing

steam trap testing
More then 160 University buildings are heated by the Blackstone Steam Plant. A steam trap is a device that allows condensed water and air to escape while keeping the steam moving through the distribution system. Our Ultrasonic Steam Trap Testing service allows our customers to ensure that the traps within their buildings are operating at peak efficiency which can result in dramatic energy and cost savings.
