Welcome to
the Administration and Finance group of University Operations Services
(UOS)!
Our group is comprised of four units, Administration, Financial Operations,
Human Resources, and Procurement Services, that provide essential internal services
to each of the business units in UOS.
The primary goals of the units within Administration and Finance are to:
- Provide professional expertise in all business areas
- Provide risk management services to ensure compliance by all units within
UOS
- Create appropriate policies and procedures to ensure "best practices”
- Manage and develop economies within UOS where possible
- Act as the primary interface with the central University groups
Our Administration group manages UOS-wide practices and initiatives including
Annual Meetings, Off-Sites, Reward and Recognition, and other special projects.
This includes the strategic development of these programs and services in order
to create synergy within UOS.
Financial Operations serves as the central financial unit in UOS. It serves as the main link to University
offices and systems in the processing of payroll, billing, and invoices. In
addition, Financial Operations meets the needs of both internal and external
customers through budget development, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
Human Resources handles
personnel and labor issues within the business units of UOS.
Procurement Services is committed
to providing its central purchasing services to UOS with integrity, dedication
to customer service, and strong leadership.
