Education and Outreach
As a part of our education and outreach efforts, Landscape Services recently hosted two dozen members of the Ecological Landscaping Association (ELA) in Harvard Yard. Program developers Wayne Carbone, Manager of Harvard’s Landscape Services and Eric T. Fleisher, Director of Horticulture for Battery Park City Parks Conservancy in Manhattan, carefully explained the components of our Organic Landscaping operations, the benefits of going organic, and how this approach can be replicated at home.
