Elevator Services
Overview
Elevator Services provides full service maintenance and state inspections of passenger and freight elevators, dumbwaiters, and wheelchair lifts throughout the University, with approximately 310 units currently participating in this service. This work is managed using external service contracts for monthly inspections, preventive maintenance, emergency response, repairs, and annual safety inspection, testing, and certification. Major elevator modification and upgrade projects are also managed on a fee-for-service basis.
