Lab Safety - Cambridge

Course Description: The training will provide information and skills that will allow students and staff working in research and conservation laboratories to safely use, store, and dispose of hazardous chemicals and respond to emergencies. The training will provide information on the following topics: the Harvard University Chemical Hygiene Plan, Material Safety Data Sheets, Chemical Information Sheets, and Biosafety/Bloodborne Pathogens (only offered in MCB/OEB sessions). Participants will also learn how to correctly classify and store hazardous waste.
Attendance Requirements: Employee or supervisor of employee working in Laboratory in which hazardous materials are used.
