Emergency Evacuation Plan

Harvard University has developed an Emergency Evacuation Plan (EEP) to assist facility managers in creating a system for protecting life and property in the event a building requires evacuation. This comprehensive plan has been developed to ensure that occupants are adequately familiar with the building and with the proper procedures for evacuation.

Written Emergency Evacuation Plans are required by OSHA under the General Industry Standard 29 CFR 1910.38. This plan should be customized by Harvard's designated facility managers as required by Federal Law.
