Training
To meet regulatory requirements, radioactive materials users who are new to the University must receive training on the safe handling of radioactive materials. New users may either take the training online or attend lecture style training offered by the Radiation Protection Office. Refresher training is required and offered by the RPO. The RPO reviews training history with the Permit Holder when a laboratory's Permit is renewed. To see the schedule of upcoming training seminars go to the Seminar Schedule.
Radioactive material users who have had training at previous institutions are required to receive this initial training at Harvard University. If you have questions, please call the Radiation Protection Office at 495-2060.
