Asbestos Disposal Ban

Waste Management Inc., (WMI) has temporarily banned the acceptance and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) at its Rochester, New Hampshire (TREE) Facility. WMI indicates that they anticipate opening a new landfill cell for the disposal of ACM at the Rochester, NH facility in Spring 2011. Further, WMI advised that ACM is only being accepted at its’ Norridgewolk, Maine facility on a case-by-case basis.
