The UOS Softball Showdown
The weather could not have been better for the 1st Annual UOS Softball Showdown. Nearly two dozen employees gathered on the varsity baseball fields under blue skies and bright sunshine. There were quite a few home runs, close calls, and strikeouts. The games moved rather quickly thanks to the one swing format. Which team won? It’s tough to say since the teams did not have names. What’s important is that the event built camaraderie among employees who typically don’t mix and mingle. That’s one of the primary goals of the UOS Diversity Council.
