Information Technology Policies

Applied Technologies is responsible for ensuring UOS compliance with University policies relating to the use and management of information technology. These University policies can be categorized into a few broad groups:

Policies that assist University compliance with legal requirements, e.g. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). See www.security.harvard.edu, www.dmca.harvard.edu.
